Your chiropractor provides the recommended conservative treatment and monitors your progress. Additional physician follow-up, diagnostic evaluation or interventional pain management options can be coordinated when appropriate.
Your physician and chiropractor work together to create a personalized plan to help you move more comfortably, build strength and improve everyday function. Your needs, goals and treatment preferences guide your care, and your plan does not have to include back or neck “cracking.”
Hands-on spine and joint treatment:
Manual techniques, including joint mobilization or manipulation, designed to improve movement and reduce discomfort.
Soft-tissue therapy:
Hands-on and instrument-assisted techniques used to address muscle tension, restricted movement and irritated soft tissues.
Kinesiology taping:
Flexible therapeutic tape applied to support muscles and joints while allowing comfortable movement.
Therapeutic exercise and guided strengthening:
Supervised exercises designed to improve strength, stability, endurance and overall function.
Sports-focused rehabilitation:
Progressive treatment and exercise designed to support recovery from sports or activity-related injuries and help patients return safely to activity.
Neuromuscular reeducation:
Guided movement training that helps improve balance, coordination, posture, body awareness and movement control.
Mobility, flexibility and postural training:
Targeted movements and stretches that help improve range of motion, reduce stiffness and support healthier posture.
Balance and functional movement training:
Activities that help improve stability and confidence during walking, lifting, reaching and other everyday movements.
Spinal decompression and mechanical traction:
Gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses controlled stretching to reduce pressure on spinal discs and surrounding nerves. It may help relieve certain neck and back symptoms and support more comfortable movement.
Electrical stimulation:
Low-level electrical impulses delivered through pads placed on the skin to help relax muscles and temporarily reduce discomfort.
Shockwave therapy:
Non-invasive acoustic-wave treatment used for certain painful or injured muscles, tendons and connective tissues to help reduce pain and support recovery.
Physician evaluation:
Every new patient is evaluated by a CORE pain management physician, who coordinates the care plan with our chiropractor.
Interventional pain management:
Minimally invasive options that can be coordinated through CORE Medical & Wellness when appropriate.
Suitability for any service is determined after an evaluation.
